Rigorous Work on Cracking down the Fake Products in Electric Appliance Industry
"Symposium on Cracking down Counterfeit Goods in Partial Enterprises of Low-voltage Appliance Industry"was hold by China Electrical Industrial Association and AQSIQ (General Administration of Quality Supervision Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China) in Wuxi City on 1st and 2nd, March. Apart from domestic famous low-voltage appliance enterprises, the participants also include foreign famous enterprises like Siemens and Schneider. Relevant units such as provincial or municipal quality and technical supervisory bureaus, offices on cracking down on fake products, inspection institutes, research institutes and associations, law firms, intellectual property agencies also joined this meeting. Feng Min, the Vice-head of Law Enforcement and Inspection Division of AQSIO, and Sun Shiping, the Deputy Director General in Office of Cracking down on Fake Products of AQSIQ presented this meeting and gave important speeches. They analyzed the current situation about cracking down fake products, introduced relevant policies and announced the work in this year.
They pointed out the severe situation in producing and selling fake products in low-voltage appliance industry, in which explosion protection electric appliance is included. In consideration that these fake or inferior products have greatly endangered the health or safety of human life and property and disordered market, the state has given priority to the work of cracking down fake products in low-voltage electric appliance industry, among which to crack down fake explosion protection electric appliance is especially severe.
The representatives of enterprises introduced the counterfeit situation and bad effects caused by fake goods as well as the work they had done for cracking down fake products. In addition, they gave valuable suggestions on cracking down fake products and standardizing industrial management.
The representatives all agreed to establish a national cracking down fake products collaborative network (group) for low-voltage electric appliance, to research the work together and cooperate with each other.
The meeting was chaired by Liu Boning, the Deputy Secretary General of CEEIA (China Electrical Equipment Industrial Association). Chen Qinghua, the Director of Technology and Quality Department of CEEIA, and Dai Huiquan, the engineer of CEEIA also presented this meeting. |
